Alien Hatchi - Virtual Pet App Reviews

Would be awesome if the there wasnt little notifications telling you to do things. Because of those banners, for some reason, it wont let me wake my hatchi up so I can take care of it. I already know how to work the app, you dont have to give me pop-ups to tell me how to do it. Now I have a dead Hatchi on my hands. Awesome...

I run out of fuel quickly and even when I use the walking feature it barely helps at all. Im afraid my Hatchi might die soon because of my lack of fuel.

Does it really compare to Hatchi? No games? Come on!!!!

Alien Hatchi is terrible. The lack of mini games as well is the horrible fuel system of currency (as compared to coins in the original hatchi) is a broken formula that results in anything but fun. Theres no way to properly get enough fuel without purchasing in-app for more. If you buy upgrades for more fuel you wont have enough to care for your current abomination. The aesthetics and the original idea are great though. Jut hope they add some games to receive fuel instead of waiting for such a little amount.

Ive had this app for several weeks and twice now the app has frozen and the only way to unfreeze it is to uninstall and reinstall. The first time I lost all my in app purchases and my contact with support just said were sorry its not working but never responded to my inquiries about my purchases. Now that Ive had 3 of my 4 hatchis die because of this freezing problem I dont think Ill be wasting any more time on it. The graphics continue to work but I cant select anything to feed or care for my hatchi, I was able to start a new egg when my alien died but the app quickly froze. I also cannot collect any fuel.

It wasnt much fun trying to keep enough fuel points just to keep my hatchi alive. There are no games. Then I got my hatchi to 28 days old and the game is completely frozen up. So I cant feed it, clean it, or get fuel points now. My hatchi will be dead any minute now. Reading other reviews, this is a common issue.

Thank you for the update. My hatchi died and now when I try to revive him (I have an adult squid) the app crashes... And it took my 15,000 in fuel for the revive and hes still dead... Nice try, but not there yet.

Youre giving this app for free now? Are the people that bought it awhile back gonna get like a free gift or something? Seriously not cool

When I downloaded this app, I was really excited because I thought it would be similar to the original Hatchi. It was, except without the fabulous VoiceOver accessibility that the First virtual pet was known for. Please improve the voiceover for this app because its very difficult for a blind person to use. Other than that, this app is amazing, The sound effects Are wonderful and the hatching alien sound is just too cute for words! Im looking forward to your next update. Looks like you cant get enough power points to keep your pet healthy without spending $$ or providing free advertising by posting on Facebook or Twitter. Too bad.

I gave it a 4 due to the fact that it has potential. Came to the fact that I cant take care of an alien hatchi until I have 100% fuel efficiency so every 4 hours I use the fuel for a higher percentage and then abandon the alien hatchi. Cruel I know but it must be done...

Good game. I like it much better than the original Hatchi, except you have to use fuel to care for your Hatchi, its not fair really.

Nice to look at, really cool idea (robot and squid mutations!) but incredibly frustrating as there is no way to really play without purchasing fuel from the game. Its a little ridiculous to offer an app for free when the game functions in a way that demands you pay money. Disingenuous, go with regular hatchi!

The additional game has improved the ability to care for your Hatchi! It is a beautiful & interesting game. Also, I would recommend the players buy more fuel efficiency at the start of the game so they can later care for their hatchi properly & without spending money....

Its just what everyone needs like the retro Hatchi, a game to get fuel or money. At least we get more fuel in the mini game than waiting a little while for little fuel, but its only one mini game. Nice job for adding a mini game. Also nice game.

The sound is muted. Why is that?

The graphics and interface on this game are amazing. And it has almost everything that the retro hatchi has, but its lacking the one thing that keeps me interested in the other hatchi game, and thats all the game play. I really dont like that it only offers one mini game, and a boring and time consuming mini game at that. If Ive got to waste fuel just to feed my pet, then I want a variety of ways to earn it back. And this just doesnt give that.
